What kind of kid wants to be an archaeologist when they grow up?
A weirdo, no doubt. My last name is German for "left" after all, so a Jersey kid from Bon Jovi's hometown becoming struck by the awe and wonder of dinosaurs checks out. I abandoned the Indiana Jones dreams, but that obsessive curiosity is still there. I go deep. On music, movies, art, cultural machinations, hard-wired systems, brand evolution, a good underdog tale, etc. I come up for air, pull ideas from the depths of quirky humanity, and write stories with a guttural, poetic flare. I'm a cultural archaeologist digging for the right connective tissue for the right story. And I do it with that Springsteen-esque brand of Jersey edge-meets-awareness-of-universal-human-emotions.
In short, I'm a creative with a penchant for strategy.
